Job Title: CDL Driver

Job Description

We are seeking a CDL Driver to join our team, working Monday through Friday on the first shift. The hours are either 7am - 3:30pm or 9am - 5pm. This role involves yard spotting and some local hauling, ensuring you are home every night. You will operate a shag truck to move semis within the lot, back them into the dock, and pull them out of the dock.

ResponsibilitiesOperate shag truck to efficiently move semis within the lot.Back semis into the dock and pull them out safely.Ensure prompt regular attendance and maintain flexibility in hours worked, including overtime as needed.Communicate effectively and work well with other team members.Maintain strong organization skills and self-motivation.Adhere to safety protocols and undergo checks, physical, and drug screenings.Essential SkillsValid driver's license and Class A CDL required.Ability to read and write English proficiently.Good communication and organizational skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious forklift experience and certification preferred.Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 45 pounds.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

You will work in a clean, non-climate-controlled warehouse environment that is warm in the summers and cold in the winters, averaging 45 degrees. The setting is very fast-paced, primarily in a dock environment, requiring the ability to work both alone and collaboratively with others.

This is a Contract position based out of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
