As a key member of their logistics and delivery team, you will be responsible for transporting materials safely and efficiently to various locations in Northeast Iowa and ensuring timely deliveries. This is a direct hire opportunity. Meaning, the right fit candidate would go directly onto the hiring company’s payroll and be eligible for benefits. **Responsibilities:** + Safely operate a CDL A or B commercial vehicle to transport materials to designated locations. + Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. + Load and unload materials, ensuring secure and proper handling. + Follow delivery schedules and routes as assigned. + Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle service, and any incidents. + Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. + Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members. **Requirements:** + Valid CDL A driver's license. + Clean driving record with no recent traffic violations. + Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment is a plus. + Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards. + High school diploma or equivalent.
