**Job Title: CDL A Driver** **Job Description** Aerotek is hiring immediately! We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL A Driver to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting heavy equipment, materials, and supplies to and from job sites, ensuring timely and safe delivery while supporting field operations. This position is full time offering competitive pay and benefits! **Responsibilities** + Operate and maintain Class A commercial vehicles including dump trucks, lowboys, and flatbeds. + Transport heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and backhoes to and from job sites. + Haul aggregates, pipe, and construction materials as needed. + Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate logs in compliance with DOT regulations. + Assist with loading and unloading equipment and materials. + Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site supervisors, and crew members. + Follow all safety protocols and company procedures on and off the job site. + Perform minor vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly. **Essential Skills** + Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record. + Minimum 2 years of experience driving commercial vehicles, preferably in construction or utility work. + Experience hauling heavy equipment and knowledge of proper tie-down procedures. + Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety standards. + Ability to work in varying weather conditions and navigate active construction sites. + Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification. + Experience with site work or underground utility construction. + Tanker or Hazmat endorsement (a plus, but not required). **Why Work Here?** Enjoy ample opportunities for career growth within a company that values safety, quality, and efficiency.
