Job Title: CCTV Electrician Technician - Install / Service

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Low Voltage Electrician to join our team as a technician. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of low voltage electrical systems, with a primary focus on fire alarm and security systems in commercial and industrial settings. This individual will also be required to complete installation work.

Responsibilities

Install, test, and maintain fire alarm systems and other low voltage systems, including security and access control.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.Pull, terminate, and label low voltage wiring and cabling.Program and configure fire alarm control panels and related devices.Perform inspections to ensure compliance with local codes.Troubleshoot and repair system faults and malfunctions.Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades on job sites.Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.

Essential Skills

Minimum 5 years of experience in low voltage electrical work, preferably in fire alarm systems.Working knowledge of codes.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to provide own tools.Electrical diagnostics and repair.Ability to work with low voltage and high voltage systems.Experience with conduit, schematics, and cable installation.Specific industry training will assist with higher pay rate.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
