Job Summary

Job Title – Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

General Summary of Duties – Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely shipping, receiving, and documentation of all inbound and outbound shipments. Also supports general warehouse operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Receive, inspect, document, and verify all incoming equipment and material. Prepare and package outbound shipments ensuring accuracy, proper labeling, and compliance with company and carrier requirements. Maintain detailed information related to project equipment received in-house. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Report damaged, missing, or incorrect shipments promptly and appropriately.Stage equipment for internal project deliveries. Communicate with supervisors, field leaders, purchasing, and project managers effectively regarding warehouse activity. Resolve discrepancies related to shipments. Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly workspace. Act as a backup to the tool coordinator when required. Perform occasional basic maintenance in the building. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Communication - communicates clearly and concisely.Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, and piping materials a plus. Interpersonal skills – able to work effectively with other employees, supervisors, and external partiesPolicies & procedures – demonstrates knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures and systems.PC skills – demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, scanners, and others as required.Basic skills – Accuracy and attention to detail, adaptability, problem solving and teamwork. Physical Demands

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS – Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 50 lbs. independently, occasional lifting of heavier items with team assistance or equipment. Frequent handling of boxed goods, palletized materials, and warehouse equipment. Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to read documentation, inspect deliveries, and operate equipment safely.
