Job Description
The individual in this role will be responsible for reading work instructions, reviewing drawings, and building catheters, sub-assemblies, and full catheter builds within a clean room environment. The position requires working under a microscope, completing various sub-assemblies, using small hand tools, documenting processes, performing visual inspections, trimming parts, and final packaging of products. This role involves working on the commercial build side.
Responsibilities
+ Read and interpret work instructions and production drawings.
+ Build catheters, sub-assemblies, and full catheter builds in a clean room.
+ Perform assembly tasks under a microscope.
+ Use small hand tools for assembly tasks.
+ Document work in travelers, QMS systems, or ERP systems.
+ Conduct visual inspections and trim parts as necessary.
+ Final packaging of assembled products.
Essential Skills
+ 1-3+ years of assembly and/or manufacturing experience in the medical device industry.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills to read work orders and follow production drawings.
+ Ability to document work in QMS systems or ERP systems.
+ Hand dexterity and ability to work with very small pieces, requiring patience and diligence.
+ High school graduate or GED equivalent.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with catheter and guidewire assembly.
+ Proficiency in working within a clean room and using a microscope.

Work Environment
The work environment is a clean, state-of-the-art facility with a welcoming break room. Employees will work in a new product development area, assembling IPG or pacemaker units, and will need to be flexible to work on various projects, including IPGs and catheters. Most tasks will be performed under a microscope in a clean room environment. The position follows a Monday to Thursday schedule, from 5 am to 3:30 pm, on the first shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
