**Hiring for Catheter Assemblers in R&D! $23/hour - starting pay!** **Responsibilities** + Work collaboratively as part of a team to assemble parts. + Sort and place materials or items on tables, racks, or bins. + Manually assemble small parts under a microscope. + Clean assembled parts and package them in protective bags or boxes. + Pick up, move, and sort small parts. + Verify raw materials and lot numbers. + Build products by following all processes and meeting manufacturing goals and metrics. + Rotate tasks as necessary and work well with all group members, both within the team and cross-functionally. + Maintain accurate records, including training records and required paperwork. + Perform other related duties as assigned by management. + Report defective material or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. + Adhere to safety and quality processes and procedures. + Communicate the status of operations in a timely manner to management, including any safety and/or process problems. + Maintain a clean and safe work area. **Essential Skills** + Experience in medical device assembly, preferably catheter or very small part assembly. + Previous experience in manufacturing, performing visual inspections, and operating necessary assembly equipment. + Detail-oriented and able to work effectively under pressure while meeting deadlines. + Ability to work independently and productively with minimum supervision. + Ability to read blueprints. + Willingness to work under a microscope throughout the day. + 2-3 years of experience in medical device assembly. + Experience in clean room environments. + Ability to manage multiple projects. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a comprehensive health care plan including medical, dental, and vision coverage. The position is based in a clean room environment where adherence to specific attire is required, including masks, gloves, hairnets, and smocks. Workdays can vary, with some requiring 10% scope work and others up to 50%. This role is on the first shift, from 5 AM to 1:30 PM, Monday through Friday. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Maple Grove, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
