The BCA Supply Chain Category Strategy team is looking for Supply Chain Strategy Specialists to lead the development of its Systems category strategies. This position will help integrate BCA’s range of needs to meet business goals, from make/buy decisions and strategic work placement to Intellectual Property Management and technology roadmaps for sourcing categories.
You will be required to interface and integrate program strategies and objectives with the functional, BCA and enterprise strategies and objectives. You will have responsibility for full lifecycle, cross-program decision making to achieve recurring cost reduction and after-market revenue targets for your categories.
Our teams are currently hiring Senior (Level 4) Category Management Specialists.
Position Responsibilities:
Provides business and strategic guidance for critical suppliers, commodities and programsLeads the resolution of complex or strategic supply chain issuesConsults with management and customers to lead the development of future supply base requirementsDevelops and integrates supplier strategies with program needs and supply base capabilitiesDevelops and proposes supply chain architecture for future airplane programsConducts and leads trade studies for best value-captureDrives the company's cross-functional supply base strategy processEvaluates potential proposals and supports sourcing proposalsDevelop details category plans and drives strategy near and long term within the categoryLeads cross-functional teams to identify and develop implementation plans for key high value projectsBasic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
10+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management10+ years of experience in communicating to employees, customers, peers and multiple levels of leadership 10+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word Must be willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time domestically and internationallyPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree5+ years of experience demonstrating exceptional business, analytical, and problem-solving skills5+ years of experience with ERP systems such as ERPLN and/or SAP3+ years of experience managing supplier performance 3+ years of experience with improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, systematic problem solving) 3+ years of experience with strategy development and executionConflict of Interest:
