We are looking for a Category Finance Manager, A&C for the US portfolio including Biscuit, Confections and Bars Categories. This person will serve as the strategic financial adviser and business partner to the Growth Strategy and Marketing teams and will lead the financial analysis for A&C investment.


This person will become part of strategic initiatives and decisions to improve the financial results for the portfolio. Must have the ability to work cross-functionally across the marketing and growth strategy organizations.


Key Responsibilities:

Lead the financial analysis for A&C budget and spending in collaboration with the marketing and growth strategy organizations.  

Deliver financial commitments and run planning and forecasting activities for A&C.  

Drive favorable mix shift by influencing Marketing spending and trade investments.

Drive the team to adjust and prepare for S4 Hana related impacts by adjusting ways of working.

Contribute to the Strategic Plan and Integrated Business Planning by managing the full A&C budget for the US portfolio.

Quickly able to understand the fundamentals of what drives the business; can hit the ground running and identify opportunities to ‘add value’ and accelerate brand growth.  

A highly motivated, energetic and pragmatic individual with the ability to ‘roll up sleeves’, take responsibility for initiatives and produce results.  

Ability to work at a fast pace, deal with ambiguity and make something out of nothing, self-starter.  

Strategic player – strong with analysis – Pricing, business model decisions, problem analysis and resolution. Ability to think creatively and have foresight regarding long term financial impact of decisions.  

Ability to effectively interact with others and influence the organization at all levels.  

Demonstrated strong financial, operational and business acumen; strong achievement and results orientation.  

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required, MBA preferred

8 or more years of Finance management experience is required 

Prior Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience preferred

Experience with pricing, business model decisions, problem analysis and resolution

Strong technical skills required (i.e. Excel)

Strong strategic and analytical skills

Outstanding leadership skills 

Strong team player who manages collaboratively with all stakeholders 

Strong influencing and communication skills, and ability to lead teams 

The base salary range for this position is $117,400 to $161,425; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
