Catalyst Trainee (F/M/X)

About the role

 

Our Catalyst team, composed of 5 people, is integrated in the R&I Peroxides department and focuses on the catalyst involved in the process.

As a Catalyst Trainee, you will work on the catalyst and its carrier. You will get the opportunity to contribute to catalysis process development to maximize Peroxides efficiency. You will be accountable for:

Respect and apply the HSE rules and housekeeping practices. Actively and proactively contribute to the safety of the laboratory and the people. Execute catalyst synthesis with high precision and attention to detail. Perform with care several experiments to test catalysts' performance. Collaborate with other departments such as the analytical team to carry out analysis. Provide a summary of the results, develop his/her own critical analysis, and communicate them to the project leader.

We offer an internship (3 months) contract based on hybrid (3 days per week onsite) working mode.

 

About you

Relevant education degree or equivalent in Engineering or Chemistry. Relevant work experience in laboratories.

Competencies:

Fluency in English Knowledge of material science, chemical kinetics & thermodynamics, surface chemistry, chemical engineering Good knowledge of laboratory equipment Organizational and presentation skills

About the pay

Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is: € 350 per month in Belgium

Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives. Benefits:
