Summary About the position: This position will be assigned to the Bowling Center on Langley AFB, VA. This is a flexible position guaranteed 0 hours per week but can be scheduled for up to 40 hours per week. Responsibilities Accepts customer orders and rings up sales. Totals sales, processes credit card sales, receives money and makes changes. Performs food service duties such as assisting in setting up serving area, replenishes beverage dispensers and condiments dispensers. Calls customer numbers when food is ready and provides food for pick-up. May be required to serve simple alcoholic beverages, i.e., beer, wine, wine coolers, in the absence of the Bartender. Maintains the sanitation and cleanliness of the Snack Bar area, both behind the counter and in the dining area. Receives and verifies orders from vendors and stores in appropriate locations. Must be able to communicate clearly with customers and possess skill in dealing with the public. Must meet the appropriate minimum are requirement for working with and/or serving alcoholic beverages.
