Cash Management is the area responsible for helping companies manage their day-to-day liquidity with efficiency, control, and visibility. It provides solutions across collections and payments, balance concentration and cash mobilization, process and data integration through digital channels (APIs, file-based connectivity, and portals), and the mitigation of operational and fraud risks—supported by robust reporting and reconciliation capabilities. Within Global Transaction Banking (GTB), Cash Management is a core pillar of recurring, transaction-driven services, typically anchoring client relationships due to its high stickiness and its ability to generate both deposits and fee income. In this context, Cash Sales plays a central commercial and advisory role: driving origination and growth of Cash Management revenues by assessing client operating models, structuring tailored proposals (including solution design, connectivity, and pricing), coordinating delivery with product and operations teams, and managing post-implementation follow-up to support adoption, retention, and further expansion opportunities.

About the job:

• Assist the Head of Local Cash Management in defining the business strategy and commercial plan for the promotion of cash management products.

• Originate proactively global cash management commercial opportunities jointly with bankers.

• Attend meetings with clients recurrently together with bankers. Support bankers in the presenting to the clients the BBVA cash management product

• Receive and manage Request for Proposals (RFP)

• Set up transaction product prices. Review those prices with the Pricing Specialist to check if prices are within the margins laid down

• Drive recurrent revenue generation by increasing product adoption, expanding volumes, and strengthening wallet share across the client base.

• Review legal documentation of agreements and contracts in collaboration with Legal.

• Record the commercial opportunity in the Pipeline application updating its status along the life of the operation

• Coordinate with the global cash management teams the strategic alignment between the global and local commercial strategy, promoting a global approach in the local client management

• Transfer client needs and requirements and coordinate end-to-end delivery with Implementations and Operations.

• Know the catalogue of global and local transaction banking products in-depth

• Measure, monitor and analyse through management tools all products and services income generated per customer and geography.

• Attend and participate in the organization of specialized forums and meetings. Set up a BBVA stand in coordination with Marketing & Advertising, participating in conferences and round tables, hiring reputed speakers, etc.

• Report to the Head of Local Cash Management on a periodic and ad-hoc basis
