Job Description

What is the Opportunity?

The Cash Management Sales Associate is a vital Corporates coverage team member that plays an integral part in acquiring, manage and maintain the client relationships. This position is designed to provide the tools required to evolve and progress the skillsets needed to grow in RBCs treasury organization. This role allows an individual to develop over time for a successful career within the firm and to pursue more senior roles within the Treasury group such as a cash management sales position

What will you do?

Work with treasury sales on client proposals to identify appropriate Treasury solutions, perform cost/benefit analysis, competitive pricing and run profitability modelsAssist with client call preparation by creating relationship review materials, pitch books, account plans, and conducting customer researchDevelop an understand clients' Treasury cash management structure and objectivesCoordinate with product partners to develop comprehensive Treasury solutionsDevelop and understand competitors’ products and positioning within the client & marketWork with treasury sales solutions throughout the sales cycle to manage pipeline and ensure services and pricing are set up timely and accuratelyCoordinate with internal partners to ensure successful implementation, product ramp-up and accurate pricing/billing

What do you need to succeed?

Bachelor's Degree requiredMinimum of 3 of relevant banking and treasury experienceStrong interest in working with experienced Treasury partners in order to recognize a client's cash flow needs and apply appropriate banking solutionsDemonstrates the ability to understand Treasury Solutions products, pricing philosophy, and billing process and proceduresStrong drive/ambition to develop into an individual contributor salespersonSuperior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to mobilize internal networks and resourcesTime management, organizational and planning skills with proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentHighly proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word) and superior analytical and quantitative skills

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $110,000 - $135,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.  This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
