Job Title: Case Packer

Job Description

Join a team dedicated to manufacturing fresh label soups for prominent companies. As a Case Packer, you will be responsible for packaging, labeling, and palletizing soups. This role requires attention to detail to ensure machinery operates smoothly and labels are correct. You will be lifting boxes weighing up to 30 lbs and performing chemical cleaning as needed.

Responsibilities

Package, label, and palletize soups efficiently.Lift and place soups from conveyor into boxes.Ensure machine packaging operates smoothly and check labels.Hand palletize boxes weighing up to 30 lbs.Perform chemical cleaning in assigned areas on both regular and unplanned intervals.Escalate machine and organizational issues to Line Specialist or Lead.Support line operation documentation by completing tasks and required documentation.Contribute to new initiatives by providing feedback, writing procedures, training others, and adopting new tasks.Maintain assigned tools and perform all other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

Experience in general labor, packing, GMP, palletizing, production, batch record, and picking.High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.

Available to work overtime and weekends on a seasonal basis.Self-driven with a proactive approach to problem-solving.Ability to rotate through different machine center areas during shifts.Self-starter with a positive attitude and motivated by teamwork.Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders.Creative problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.Ability to work in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.Passion for food and willingness to handle difficult situations with patience and respect.

Work Environment

Work in a food production environment where PPE such as hair nets, bump caps, ear plugs, gloves, and goggles are mandatory. Employees must provide their own steel-toed footwear. The environment is maintained at a cold 45 degrees.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Everett, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.77 - $22.77/hr.
