**Job Title: Case Packer**
**Job Description**
Join a dynamic team responsible for packaging and labeling fresh label soups for major retailers. As a Case Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of packaging machinery and the accurate labeling of products. This position involves repeated lifting of soup containers from conveyors into boxes, hand palletizing boxes weighing up to 30 lbs, and performing chemical cleaning in designated areas.
**Responsibilities**
+ Package, label, and palletize soups effectively and efficiently.
+ Ensure machine packaging operates smoothly and check labels for accuracy.
+ Hand palletize boxes weighing up to 30 lbs.
+ Perform chemical cleaning within assigned areas, both on daily turnaround and unplanned intervals.
+ Escalate acute and chronic machine and organizational issues to Line Specialist and/or Lead as required.
+ Support existing line operation documentation by completing required tasks and documentation at the required intervals.
+ Provide feedback, write and train others on procedures, and adopt new tasks and documentation for new initiatives.
+ Maintain and keep assigned tools in good condition.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ General labor skills including packing and palletizing.
+ Knowledge of GMP and production processes.
+ Experience with batch record and pick operations.
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
+ Availability to work overtime and weekends on a seasonal basis.

**Work Environment**
Work in a food production environment where personal protective equipment must be worn, including hair net, bump cap, ear plugs, gloves, steel-toed shoes, and goggles. Employees must provide their own steel-toed shoes. The work environment is cold, with temperatures around 45 degrees.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Everett, Washington.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.24 - $22.24/hr.
