Case Mgmt & UM Support Coord - QHS Payment Follow up_QHS (Full-Time, 40 Hours, Day Shift)

RESPONSIBILITIES
I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Performs administrative support and program administration for the coordination of the daily operations of the Care Coordination/CDI and UM departments.
II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Essential: seeing, hearing and speaking.
• Continuous: standing, sitting, walking, stoop/bending, kneeling, squatting, finger dexterity, lifting and carrying usual weight of 5 pounds up to 10 pounds, reaching above, at and below shoulder level, repetitive arm/hand motions.
• Frequent: gripping of an object
• Occasional: crawling, climbing stairs, walking on uneven ground, twisting body, pushing/pulling usual weight of 5 pounds up to 10 pounds, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods
• Operates telephones, facsimile, copier, may be required to drive automobile.
III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.
• Working environment may be stressful due to handling multiple tasks at one time.
IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, social work or related field; education requirement may be substituted with four (4) years progressively responsible experience in healthcare or administrative/secretarial experience.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license is required in accordance with HR State laws and regulations.
• Meets and complies with qualifications set forth in QMC Fleet Safety Policy.
B. EXPERIENCE:
• In addition to education requirement, two (2) years experience in healthcare or human services with public contact and knowledge of program administration.
• Experience to demonstrate:
o Knowledge of MS Windows-based applications for word processing and spreadsheets.
o Knowledge of Medicaid regulations related to billing highly preferred.
