The Case Manager is responsible for managing life insurance cases from intake through placement. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, curiosity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving while delivering an exceptional broker experience.
ResponsibilitiesReview and set up new applications for accuracy and carrier requirements.Own cases from submission through policy placement.Gather, organize, and manage medical and financial underwriting requirements.Coordinate with brokers, internal teams, and insurance carriers.Monitor case progress and provide proactive updates.Maintain accurate documentation in the Agency Management System (AMS).Assist with quotes, application packets, and carrier portals as needed.Essential SkillsExperience in life insurance or mortgage processing.Proficiency in document management and control.Proficient in MS Excel.Experience in case management and reporting.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's or Associate's degree.3-5+ years of experience as either a Case Manager for life insurance or a mortgage processor.Work EnvironmentThe work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with an early finish at 3 PM on Fridays for religious observance, while still receiving full pay for the day. The environment is a small insurance brokerage organization with roughly 8 people in the office. The company offers a great culture and benefits, including health, dental, disability, and life insurance, 28 PTO days, and an education/professional development allowance. During the contract basis, candidates will be paid for any religious holidays when the business is closed in observance.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.85 - $36.06/hr.
