Carrier Relations Coordinator – Summer Contract

About The Role

 

Our Commercial Lines team is seeking a highly organized and proactive Carrier Relations Coordinator for a summer contract. This role supports the coordination and engagement of our insurance carrier partners, helping facilitate effective collaboration between insurers and internal brokers and account managers.

 

This is not a consumer marketing role. Instead, you will assist in managing insurer relationships, coordinating carrier meetings and events, and supporting internal market enablement initiatives that help drive placement success and strengthen strategic partnerships.

 

What You’ll Do

Assist in coordinating meetings, presentations, and relationship-building sessions with insurance carrier partners

Support communication between insurers and internal brokers and account managers

Help organize carrier visits, internal market sessions, and networking events

Prepare meeting materials, agendas, summaries, and follow-up documentation

Track carrier appetite guides, product updates, and key contact information

Assist in compiling and distributing market intelligence to internal stakeholders

Maintain organized records of carrier interactions and engagement initiatives

Support special projects aimed at strengthening broker–carrier collaboration

Professional written and verbal communication abilities

Comfortable interacting with external partners and internal stakeholders

High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple timelines

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

The expected salary range for this position is $18-20/h and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
