**Job Title:** **Finish Carpenter** **Location:** Ames, Iowa **Job Type:** Full-time **Shift:** Monday - Friday / 7am - 4pm **Overview:** We are currently hiring a skilled Carpenter with experience in both finish and rough carpentry for commercial construction projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile sites throughout the Ames area, including major installations at Iowa State University this summer. Candidates should be reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of delivering high-quality craftsmanship in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** + Perform rough and finish carpentry tasks as directed by the site superintendent + Install casing, trim, window jamb extensions, and door lock sets with precision + Participate in both metal stud and wood framing projects + Ensure quality workmanship in both commercial and residential settings + Read and follow project specifications and blueprints + Maintain a clean and organized job site while adhering to safety standards **Required Skills & Experience:** + Minimum 2 years of hands-on carpentry experience + Proficiency in commercial construction, finish carpentry, and trim work + Ability to install windows, doors, and lock sets accurately + Skilled in both metal stud and wood framing techniques + Strong understanding of carpentry tools, materials, and safety practices Apply Today!
