Job Title: Carpentry Helper

Job Description

Join our team of truss builders in a manufacturing setting today. This role will require hand and power tool experience and one year of carpentry. This role will be full time on 2nd shift. Monday - Thursday 3pm to 1:30am. This role will pay $20 an hour. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves carpentry and wants to work indoors year round. We will be holding virtual and in person interviews this week.

Responsibilities

Assemble floor components using hammers and screws.Work with an assembly line to put together wood pieces.Read and interpret basic drawings and layouts.Utilize a tape measure for precise measurements.Occasionally use a computer to complete work orders.

Essential Skills

Hardworking and hands-on aptitude.Experience in carpentry or construction is preferred.Proficiency in using a tape measure.Ability to read basic drawings.Basic computer literacy.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with finish carpentry and hand tools.Blueprint reading capability is a plus.Open to Spanish and Portuguese speaking candidates.

Work Environment

Work in a large woodshop assembly manufacturing building filled with wood materials. The facility operates a 2nd shift from 3 PM to 1:30 AM, Monday through Thursday, with breaks and a lunch period. There may be opportunities for overtime on Saturdays. This is a hands-on environment suitable for those who thrive in active settings.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
