Looking for a Carpenter Foreman in GTA!

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter Foreman to assist with various construction projects. This role involves site clean-up, building temporary walls, site maintenance, and repair work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in using power tools, general installations, framing, wall building, door hanging, and managing small teams as needed.

ResponsibilitiesEnsure general site clean-up is conducted efficiently.Build and dismantle temporary walls as required.Conduct site maintenance and repair work.Perform drywall clean-up and installations.Utilize power tools for various construction tasks.Engage in framing, wall building, and door hanging.Lead and manage small teams to complete tasks.Must Haves5+ years of construction carpentry experience.Proficiency in using hand and power tools, including skill saws.Ability to lift over 30 pounds.Experience in framing and drywall tasks.Leadership experience as a team leader or supervisor.Additional Skills & QualificationsWHMIS certification is an advantage.Training in working at heights or fall arrest is beneficial.Experience in hospital or school construction is a significant asset.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The position entails working on site at a new hospital project or other projects such as schools and factories, primarily during a regular day shift from 8 AM to 4 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. The work is conducted across various locations including GTA, Newmarket, Rich Hill, Toronto, and Cobourg. Note that there is no residential work involved.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
