Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Carpenter Foreman for an exciting opportunity in Wallingford, CT. This role involves leading a diverse crew of carpenters, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, and imparting valuable skills to newer skilled laborers and journeymen.
ResponsibilitiesDrive to commercial job sites.Lead a diverse crew of carpenters to complete projects on time and within budget.Teach carpentry skills to newer skilled laborers and journeymen.Ensure all safety measures are practiced at all times.Essential Skills5 years of lead finish carpentry experience.Commercial carpentry experience.Ability to teach carpentry trade to apprentices and journeymen.Proficiency in English.Ability to read measuring devices and perform accurate math.Willingness to travel up to an hour within the state daily, and to projects out of state ranging from Virginia to Maine (with hotel accommodations provided by the company).OSHA 10 certification.Personal Protective Equipment (high-visibility clothing, safety glasses, hard hat, hearing protection).Tool belt with personal tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsBilingual abilities.Positive attitude and willingness to undertake any necessary tasks during slow periods.OSHA 30 certification.Why Work Here?

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
