**Job Title: Carpenter Apprentice** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated individual with carpentry experience and mechanical aptitude, particularly skilled in using basic hand tools. The ideal candidate should be hardworking, have a reliable job tenure, and demonstrate a strong commitment to their role. **Responsibilities** + Clean, repair, and ensure all storage units and offices are in working condition and ready to be rented. + Tasks may include sweeping and hosing out spaces, checking air conditioning systems, replacing tile or epoxy flooring, and repairing drywall holes. + Maintain cleanliness by cleaning windows, blinds, doors, floors, and walls. + Replace light bulbs, locks, blinds, door handles, and perform painting tasks. + Conduct any needed repairs for customer units in the field. + Document completed work, verifying if units require further repairs (red tagged) or are ready to rent (green tagged). + Ensure supplies are replenished, and the yard is organized, free from debris and potential hazards. + Operate the forklift to load and unload containers from various trucks and trailers. + Perform other duties as assigned, with regular attendance required to fulfill essential job functions. **Essential Skills** + Carpentry + Mechanical aptitude + Proficiency with basic hand tools + Construction labor experience + Ability to lift up to 50lbs **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Carpenter apprentice experience + 2+ years of tenure in previous roles **Work Environment** The work environment consists of shop areas that include both covered and non-covered spaces.
