**Job Title: Carpenter**
**Job Description**
We are seeking skilled and dependable Commercial Carpenters to join our construction team in Madison, WI. This role involves working on a variety of commercial projects including healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and industrial buildings. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.
**Responsibilities**
+ Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and installation procedures.
+ Construct, install, and repair wood and metal framing, drywall, doors, windows, and finish carpentry components.
+ Build and dismantle concrete formwork systems for foundations and structural elements.
+ Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
+ Collaborate with foremen, project managers, and other trades to meet project deadlines.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
+ Perform layout and leveling using laser levels, tape measures, and other precision tools.
+ Adapt to changing site conditions and project scopes while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
**Essential Skills**
+ 4+ years of carpentry experience.
+ Experience in construction, commercial projects, framing, rough carpentry, and rough framing.
+ Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
+ Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to move between projects.
+ Ability to pass a 5-panel drug screen.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications.
+ Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and practices.
+ Strong collaboration and communication skills with project teams.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is on a construction job site, involving new construction or buildout. The culture is laid back with a team size of 20 in Madison, looking to grow. Dress code is casual, appropriate for construction work, with personal hand tools and PPE including hard hats and boots required. Some overtime may be needed depending on project demands.

This is a Permanent position based out of Madison, WI.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
