**Job Title: Carpenter** **Job Description** We are seeking skilled and dependable Commercial Carpenters to join our construction team in Madison, WI. This role involves working on a variety of commercial projects including healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and industrial buildings. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality. **Responsibilities** + Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and installation procedures. + Construct, install, and repair wood and metal framing, drywall, doors, windows, and finish carpentry components. + Build and dismantle concrete formwork systems for foundations and structural elements. + Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently. + Collaborate with foremen, project managers, and other trades to meet project deadlines. + Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards. + Perform layout and leveling using laser levels, tape measures, and other precision tools. + Adapt to changing site conditions and project scopes while maintaining high-quality workmanship. **Essential Skills** + 4+ years of carpentry experience. + Experience in construction, commercial projects, framing, rough carpentry, and rough framing. + Proficiency with hand tools and power tools. + Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to move between projects. + Ability to pass a 5-panel drug screen. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications. + Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and practices. + Strong collaboration and communication skills with project teams. **Why Work Here?** Join a laid-back company culture with opportunities to grow as part of our expanding Madison crew.
