**Job Title: Carpenter** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Carpenter to join our team in providing operational support for reconstruction efforts. Your role will involve a range of tasks including light framing, trim work, drywall hanging and finishing, hanging cabinets, and painting. A strong willingness to learn and work hard in the restoration business is essential. **Responsibilities** + Perform light framing, trim work, drywall hanging and finishing. + Hang cabinets and undertake painting tasks. + Provide operational support in reconstruction efforts. + Take instruction and feedback constructively and follow directions closely. + Be on call for emergency projects once every five weeks, responding promptly as needed. **Essential Skills** + Carpentry + Framing + Drywall hanging + Ability to use hand and power tools + General labor and construction skills **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Painting skills are a plus. + No previous restoration experience required. + Ability to read blueprints and perform finish carpentry. + Proficiency in using a tape measure and handling cabinetry. + Physical ability to be on feet all day and lift up to 50 lbs frequently. + Capability to stoop, kneel, reach, crawl, and use both hands and feet repetitively. **Why Work Here?** Join a company with a great nationwide reputation and numerous opportunities for advancement. Be prepared for emergency responses, which require being on call. Work will take place at various restoration project sites and the facility in Exton, PA. Candidates should live within a 30-45 minute commute to ensure timely responses. The role involves driving company trucks to job sites and requires constant accessibility. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Chester, PA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
