Job Title: Carpenter/Foreman

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter and/or Foreman with extensive experience in commercial carpentry. This role requires an individual who can lead small projects independently or manage a team of carpenters, ensuring high-quality frame-to-finish work.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee small commercial carpentry projects.Execute frame-to-finish carpentry tasks with precision.Utilize and maintain all hand and power tools within the trade.Ensure accurate measurements are taken and applied.Travel to various job sites as required.Comply with OSHA safety standards, possessing either OSHA 10 or 30 certification.

Essential Skills

5-10 years of commercial carpentry experience.Proficient in using both hand and power tools.Experience in framing, finishing, drywall, and trim work.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Strong leadership and independent working abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Capability to instruct and mentor team members on-site.Ability to manage site clean-up post-project completion.

This is a full-time position based out of southern CT, doing work throughout New Haven, Middlesex, and New London counties

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
