Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The role will primarily involve working at a large commercial sites in the Central CT area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and carpentry, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
Construct, remodel, retrofit, and repair interior and exterior structures made of wood, metal, drywall, plaster, concrete, or brick.Perform site maintenance including landscaping and snow removal.Work under the instruction and supervision of the site supervisor.Essential Skills
OSHA 10 certification3-4 years of construction experienceBasic hand tools such as a tool pouch, utility knife, speed square, hammer, tape measure, and pencilReliable transportationAdditional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment
The work schedule is from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work and double time for Sundays. Overtime is required. The team typically consists of 3-4 employees, including a supervisor and laborers. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, long pants, and long sleeves when working at chemical plants. We provide PPE such as hard hats and safety glasses.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
