**Job Title: Carpenter** Job Description Join our clients team as a skilled carpenter working from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. You will begin by contributing to the construction of a new commercial projects, focusing on interior framing, curb preparation, and roof leveling. Your skills with a skid steer will be essential. Following this project, you will work across various sites in the Edmonton area, engaging in diverse commercial construction projects, particularly on CRUs, with potential involvement in institutional projects such as schools. Responsibilities + Assist with general framing in the interior using plywood. + Prepare curbs and level roofs. + Operate a skid steer efficiently. + Work on wood and steel framing, including steel stud, door openings, and hoarding. + Undertake general laborer duties, such as demolition. + Perform parapet sheathing and window opening plywood lining. + Install foundation insulation and miscellaneous blocking in framing. + Install metal door frames and hollow metal doors. + Complete miscellaneous layout tasks. Essential Skills + Experience in commercial construction and rough carpentry. + General commercial carpentry experience + Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. + Reliable transportation to get to the site. + CSTS 2020 certification. + Proficient in framing, metal stud, and using hand tools.
