Job Title: Carpenter Service Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter Service Technician for job sites around the Twin Cities area in Minnesota. As a member of our team, you will perform various carpentry tasks, ensuring high-quality standards in all repairs and installations.

Responsibilities

Repair nail pops and perform minor paint touchups.Replace and repair trim.Conduct minor framing repairs.Adjust and repair windows and doors.Measure, calculate, and accurately mark cutting lines on materials.Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim using hand and power tools.Apply proper nailing procedures across all applications.Utilize hand, pneumatic, and other power tools.Finish, inspect, and ensure work complies with quality standards and expectations.

Essential Skills

3+ years of experience in commercial and/or residential carpentry.Basic knowledge of state codes and procedures.Solid basic math skills.Good work ethic, positive attitude, and reliability.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Availability to work overtime as needed.Ability to submit to a Motor Vehicle Report.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, focusing on sites in the SE, S, and SW metro areas including Cottage Grove, Rosemount, Lakeville, Shakopee, Chaska, Carver, and Victoria. The construction work environment involves working on one unit for a few days before moving to the next. Most tasks will be performed indoors, but employees should be prepared for outdoor conditions. Hydration is important during hot weather, and warm clothing is necessary when it's cold.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $35.00/hr.
