Job Title: Carpenter

Job Description

We are seeking experienced carpenters to work on a variety of commercial special projects. This role involves tasks such as formwork, cladding, envelope work, and civil construction. You will be responsible for applying membrane, insulation, concrete cladding, building forms, and stripping forms. The projects offer a diverse range of general carpentry work.

Responsibilities

Perform formwork and cladding tasks.Apply membrane and insulation materials.Construct and strip forms.Execute concrete cladding projects.Work independently on assigned tasks.

Essential Skills

5+ years of experience in carpentry.Proficiency with hand and power tools, including skill saws and nail guns.Possession of a tool belt and hand tools.Basic understanding of blueprints.Ability to work independently.In-person Fall Protection training.Must have a license and vehicle (sites are not all transit accessible)

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Scissor lift or Boom lift certification.Experience with commercial envelope projects.

Work Environment

This role involves working on multiple floors in a fast-paced and safety-focused environment. While parking is limited, public transportation is recommended, and having a car is beneficial for future projects. Start times vary by site at 6am, 7am, and 7:30am. Overtime is available, and teamwork is essential.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver and Maple Ridge, British Columbia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $39.00/hr.
