Job Description

We are seeking skilled carpenters to join our team for a variety of commercial special projects. The role involves tasks such as formwork, cladding, envelope work, and civil projects. Initially, you will focus on formwork projects in Coquitlam and Vancouver, specifically forming footings, slabs, and walls. As projects frequently change, adaptability is key.

ResponsibilitiesPerform formwork on footings, slabs, and walls.Engage in cladding and envelope work.Participate in a variety of civil projects.Adapt to frequently changing project assignments.Essential Skills8+ years of experience as a carpenter specializing in envelope, new construction, and concrete.Valid driver's license.In person fall protection ticketProficiency with power tools, including skill saws and nail guns.Possession of a tool belt and hand tools.Basic blueprint reading skills.Ability to work independently.Additional Skills & QualificationsScissor lift or Boom lift ticket.Experience with commercial envelope projects.Having a personal vehicle for future site visits.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and safety-focused, with multiple floors involved in projects. Parking is limited, so taking the train is recommended, although having a car is beneficial for future projects. Reporting is directly to the site supervisor, with varying start times depending on the site, including 6am, 7am, and 7:30am. Overtime is available for team players willing to work extra hours when needed. The first two projects are expected to last about three months, but flexibility to travel to various sites is essential.

The pay range for this position is $39.00 - $43.00/hr.
