Job Description

A Carpenter is responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial structures and fixtures. This role primarily involves working with wood, but also includes other materials like steel and concrete.

ResponsibilitiesConstruct, install, and repair residential, commercial, and industrial structures and fixtures.Read and interpret blueprints to determine specifications and requirements.Measure and cut materials accurately to build frames and fixtures.Utilize a variety of tools to perform tasks in construction, carpentry, and framing.Perform rough carpentry, finish carpentry, and drywall installation.Work with concrete and steel as required for certain construction projects.Essential SkillsProficiency in construction, carpentry, and framing techniques.Experience with concrete and finish carpentry.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Skilled in using a variety of construction tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in commercial construction.Ability to perform rough carpentry and drywall tasks.Work Environment
