**Job Title: Technician** **Job Description** Join our team as a versatile carpenter, where each day begins with meeting at the office, receiving your project assignment, gathering necessary tools and materials, and heading out to the job site with a team. Your role involves performing carpentry tasks, cleaning up after completion, and returning to the shop at the end of the day. **Responsibilities** + Install windows and doors, which constitutes a significant portion of daily tasks. + Trim out windows and doors. + Install hardware. + Frame rooms and perform some deck work. + Install cabinets and engage in remodel/tenant improvement projects. **Essential Skills** + Proficient in using a tape measurer and reading blueprints. + Ability to measure and cut materials accurately. + Proficient in trimming out windows and hanging doors. + Minimum of 2 years of general carpentry experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Valid driver's license is strongly preferred; CDL A is advantageous but not required during contract. + High level of professionalism is expected on job sites. **Why Work Here** Benefit from a supportive small team eager to train those willing to learn. Report to the South office in Grimes, IA, and work Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays. Busy periods may require extended hours. Attire includes jeans, t-shirts, and safety gear provided after two weeks of employment. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grimes, Iowa. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr.
