Job Description

Join our dynamic team, traveling to commercial and prebuilt residential houses to execute installations. As a carpenter, you will focus on trim carpentry and rough framing in teams of 3-4, and travel up to 2 hours per day for assignments.

ResponsibilitiesPerform trim and rough carpentry tasks for residential and commercial builds.Install windows at high-level houses and commercial buildings.Travel to various project sites, typically within 45 minutes to 1.5 hours from the shop.Utilize basic tools, including a tape measure and carpentry tools, while additional equipment is provided.Collaborate effectively within a team of 3-4 carpenters.Maintain high attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.Essential SkillsMinimum of 2 years carpentry experience.Proficiency in trim and rough carpentry.Ability to install windows and execute construction tasks.Skill in using hand and power tools, and reading blueprints.Experience with mechanical assembly and troubleshooting.Additional Skills & QualificationsCertification in scissor lift operation is a plus.Capability to read and interpret tape measures.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Begin your day at the shop before heading to assigned projects. Work involves both indoor and outdoor environments, focusing on window installations. Utilize company cars for transportation to job sites, ensuring efficient and coordinated travel.

This is a Contract position based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
