**Job Title: Red Seal Carpenter** **Job Description** We are seeking skilled carpenters to fabricate all components of timber structures, utilizing materials such as glue-laminated beams, laminated veneer lumber, nail-laminated timber, and dowel-laminated timber. The role involves working with steel connectors, cables, and castings, as well as integrated structural panels complete with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems pre-installed in the shop. **Responsibilities** + Read blueprints for beam layout to ensure precision in construction. + Perform steel fitting and sanding tasks to achieve high-quality finishes. + Conduct precision finishing using power and air tools, including hand drills, skill saws, and sanders. + Package glulams and panels efficiently and assist with clean-up tasks. + Provide on-site help with tasks such as prepping, flying, landing, and stitching together roof panels. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of carpentry experience, including framing, cabinet building, and finishing. + Completion of 4th year carpentry schooling. + Proficiency in using tools such as drills, skill saws, table saws, hammers, and measuring tapes. + Ability to measure in both Imperial and Metric units. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in manufacturing carpentry is advantageous. + Overhead crane experience is beneficial. + Familiarity with sawmill or wood planing machines is a plus. + Experience in mass timber fabrication is an asset. + Soft skills include willingness to learn, good attitude, reliability, punctuality, and eagerness to be present. **Why Work Here?** Join an elite company recognized among the top in the industry worldwide.
