Job Description
We are seeking a skilled carpenter to join our team, traveling within a 30-minute to one-hour radius of the Grand Rapids area. The role involves door installation work, as well as time carpentry around the doors, including tasks like caulking and crown molding. Proficiency in using a saw to cut wood to the appropriate size is essential.
ResponsibilitiesInstall commercial doors and perform finish carpentry work.Conduct trim work and ensure precise fitting and finishing.Use hand and power tools effectively, including saws for cutting wood.Read and interpret blueprints for accurate installation and construction.Perform rough carpentry and framing tasks as needed.Engage in drywall installation and repair work.Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.Essential Skills1+ years of experience in commercial door installation.1+ years of experience in trim work.Proficiency in finish carpentry and trim work.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Experience with hand tools and power tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in commercial construction and new construction environments.Knowledge of framing and rough carpentry techniques.Skills in cabinetry and installation of doors.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $26.00/hr.
