Job Description

We are seeking a skilled carpenter who will engage in diverse work ranging from forming, framing, machine work, civil work, to concrete finishing. The ideal candidate is trainable or experienced in various construction tasks, working on projects such as school foundations, institutional builds, parks, hardscapes, and niche jobs including heavy timber work, concrete forming, and excavation.

ResponsibilitiesPerform forming, framing, and machine work.Engage in civil work and concrete finishing.Contribute to projects like school foundations, institutional buildings, and parks.Handle heavy timber work, concrete forming, and excavation tasks.Work on municipal park projects, building retaining walls, fences, spray parks, and water lines.Participate in sanitary, sewer, and water works.Essential Skills5+ years of construction experience.5+ years of carpentry experience.Proficiency in concrete formwork.Experience with landscape and hardscaping.Ability to adapt to various tasks.Additional Skills & QualificationsTakes pride in work and cares about job quality.Possession of PPE and hand tools.Exhibits good attitude and professionalism.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Meet at the shop and carpool or head directly to the site, ideally living in the Valley and starting by 6-6:30am. Work locations are primarily in the Valley but may extend to Vancouver, including Abbotsford, Langley, Surrey, and New Westminster. Projects include school foundations and various institutional and park developments.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr.
