**Carpenter** **Job Description** As a Carpenter, you will install interior wall systems in mobile medical units, ensuring the precise installation of cabinets, medical equipment, and various items such as soap dispensers, blinds, routers, TVs, medical chairs, and x-ray equipment. You will measure and cut materials according to custom specifications and use hand and power tools to prepare materials for installation. You will work with fiberboard, drywall, aluminum, and stainless steel components while inspecting and cleaning mobile units during the finishing process. **Responsibilities** + Install interior wall systems in mobile medical units. + Install cabinets and medical equipment. + Install a variety of small to large items throughout the mobile unit. + Measure and cut materials according to custom specifications. + Use hand and power tools to prep materials for installation. + Work with fiberboard, drywall, aluminum, and stainless steel components. + Inspect and clean mobile units during the finishing process. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of experience in general construction, drywall installation, finish carpentry, cabinet building, trim work, or home remodeling. + Attention to detail. + Ability to read a tape measure to at least 1/16th. + Proficiency with hand and power tools, with a requirement to bring your own set. + Experience in electrical, construction, wiring, carpentry, and finish carpentry. + Ability to read blueprints, framing, and schematics. **Why Work Here?** Join a family-owned company that values work-life balance, offering medical, dental, and vision benefits, along with a 401K plan. Each cell has different tasks that are fairly consistent each week with minor changes based on varying customer specifications. The schedule is from 7 am to 3:30 pm, with an emphasis on maintaining a balance between family and work life, ensuring that work is completed on time. In case of additional tasks, early starts at 5 am allow for a consistent 3:30 pm finish. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
