Join a dynamic team in the construction and repair of modular offices. As a carpenter's helper, you will be involved in building and maintaining modular office units, which serve as essential workspaces for field supervisors and crews on job sites.
ResponsibilitiesConstruct and assemble modular office units according to blueprints.Install walls, floors, ceilings, and other structural components.Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials.Ensure all work complies with building codes and safety regulations.Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers, to complete projects.Perform maintenance and repairs on existing modular office units.Maintain a clean and organized work environment.Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
Essential Skills6+ months of experience as a carpenter's helper or handyman in commercial or residential construction.Ability to use a tape measure.Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Strong mathematical skills for measuring and calculating dimensions.Good physical stamina and strength.
Additional Skills & QualificationsCompletion of a carpentry apprenticeship or vocational training program.Proven experience in modular construction.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Work Environment
You will be working on a team of 6-8 production associates. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Work takes place in the yard and covered trailers within the production area.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
