Cargo Operations Training Instructor

Description

Your Role:  

The Cargo Operations Instructor is responsible to the Team Lead technical Training to instruct and assess theory and practical cargo operations training for the KC-30A program.  You will also have accountability for: 

Deliver contracted KC-30A Air Movements and AMO cargo training courses as per the Through Life Support Contract, Survey and Quote, Training Needs Analysis Report and Approved Training Schedule   

Responsible for the coordination and delivery of technical training to Air Movements personnel and cargo operations training for 33SQN personnel   

Maintain, review and modify KC-30A Cargo Load/unload training materials 

Collect, draft and distribute required documentation for training provision and evaluation  

Ensure accurate training records are maintained  

Monitor and update training records for KC-30A internal and external customers 

 

About You:  

Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE) or equivalent skills   

Capable of attaining and maintaining an Australian Defence Security (NV1 clearance 

Aircraft qualifications and experience suitable to the role of COI (KC-30A/A330 or large wide body jet preferred) 

Experience in administration of training programs within a highly regulated environment 

Ability to investigate and analyse deficiencies in systems and applications and recommend alternative solutions to ensure customer satisfaction is maintained 

Ability to work under time and resource pressures and meet deadlines 

Good communication skills, written and verbal 

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders 

Demonstrated experience of instructing in an aircraft technical environment and competency-based training
