Job Title: Cargo Sales Executive – SME Accounts

About the Role

Qatar Airways (QR) have embarked on an exciting transformation journey to change how we interact with our customers. As part of this journey, we are now recruiting for the role of Cargo Sales Executive based on site at our ORD Cargo Offices.  
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing Qatar Airways Cargo’s larger SME freight forwarder accounts within the assigned territory. You will focus on driving revenue, improving yield, and strengthening long-term customer relationships. Most account management activities will be conducted via phone and email. You will also work to grow the largest SME customers into fully developed local accounts.

Prepares an account development plan to achieve short-, medium-, and long-term mutual benefits. Develops and maintains relationships with Qatar Airways Cargo’s’ larger SME freight forwarders.in the assigned territory.Contributes to the formulation and implementation of QR Cargo sales strategy to maximize short- and long-term revenue opportunities, reduce cost of sale and generate divarication where needed.Fully responsible for individual sales budgets and targets.Ensure focus and activities prioritize high yield sales and profitability maximization.Develops the biggest SMEs into local accounts, whilst targeting smaller SMEs with opportunity to grow.Reviews QR Cargo sales data with account portfolio to drive revenue and seek out tactical revenue opportunities.Uses Salesforce as the only CRM tool and makes sure account-related information is up-to-date.Manages and co-ordinate projects and initiatives on behalf of area of responsibility.Develops tactical sales activity in support of sales opportunities.Maintain sales professionalism standards.Provides regular Market Intelligence and feedback from customers and competitors.Represents QR Cargo at trade events, promotions and sales functions.Perform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
