Position OverviewThe Caregiver Support Specialist plays a key role in supporting both caregivers and clients by ensuring high-quality care delivery, caregiver readiness, and client satisfaction. This position focuses on caregiver supervision, ongoing training, care plan oversight, and proactive client follow-ups. The Caregiver Support Specialist works closely with scheduling, client success, and marketing teams to ensure the right caregiver is matched to each client based on skillset, experience, and personality.
Key Responsibilities Caregiver Support & SupervisionProvide ongoing supervision, support, and guidance to caregivers in the field
Conduct caregiver supervisory visits and performance check-ins
Provide retraining, coaching, and reinforcement of care standards as needed
Conduct caregiver introductions with clients at the start of services or when changes occur
Client Care & Follow-UpComplete new client follow-ups within 24–48 hours of start of care
Visit clients following hospitalization or changes in condition
Update, document, and maintain accurate client care plans in a clear, professional, and timely manner
Document observations, changes in condition, and care updates in accordance with agency standards
Care Coordination & CollaborationPartner with the scheduling team to ensure caregivers are appropriately assigned based on skillset, experience, and personality fit
Collaborate with the Client Success Specialist to support positive client outcomes
Work with the marketing team to assist with staffing new client shifts and relaying important care plan updates
Communicate care plan changes and important updates clearly across departments
Schedule & AvailabilityMonday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Flexibility in hours may be required based on company needs
One weekend per month required
QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of professional caregiving experience required
Prior caregiver supervisory or leadership experience preferred
Strong written communication skills required, with the ability to accurately document care plans, supervisory visit notes, and client updates
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently in the field and collaboratively with internal teams
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes as needed
