Students begin this program anytime between January 13 and February 17, 2026. All sections of the program must be completed by May 7, 2026.** Work at your own pace, on your own time and master your skills in the short-term Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) Competency-Based Education (CBE) program. YouΓÇÖll use an online platform for the lecture portion of the class that includes videos, reading, assignments and assessments, and complete hands-on welding projects with your instructor in the Welding Lab on campus. The flexibility of this program allows you to reserve booth time that fits with your schedule to develop basic GMAW welding and blueprint reading skills. YouΓÇÖll be prepared for immediate entry-level employment or continued training in our extended Welding diploma program!
