**Career Navigator, Workforce Development** Onsite - based New Orleans, LA **Team Rubicon (TR)** is seekinga **Career Navigator** **,** **Workforce Development** to join our **Programs** x **Long Term Recovery** team! The Career Navigator, Workforce Development will collaboratively and cooperatively work within their team and oncross-functional teams. This position will require working with competing priorities and keeping multiple stakeholders appraisedof decisions. TheCareer Navigator, Workforce Development will foster relationships with community partners, skills training partners and employers in the skilled trades. The Career Navigator, Workforce Development will also serve as the liaison between Team Rubicon and participants enrolled in workforce development programming. Every day will be a challenge, but every month brings new opportunities for an organization that is quickly becoming a household name in disaster response. This position reports to TR’s  **Program Manager,** **Workforce Development** and is based in New Orleans, LA.   **Duties:** + Supports workforce development initiatives aimed to enhance the skills, employability, and career progression of participants. + Provides wrap-around supportand career counseling for workforce development participants through referrals for community-based services, coordination of financial and resource support services, resume development, job searchand job retention support. + Conduct initialintake assessments, evaluate interests and skills, career readiness and develop individualized career plans. + Maintaintimely documentation of all participant engagement demonstratingboth frequent and impactful participant support. + Develop and maintain relationships withcommunity-based partners, local and state agencies as well as employers. **Education and Background:** + 1-3 years of direct, client-facing experience in workforce development, case management, or a related human services field, including responsibility for supporting participants from intake through placement or retention + Proven record ofclient-centered experience such as case management, employment support, training, and/orcoordination of care  + Proficient with technology tools and in remote working for communicating and coordinating with a large network of TR staff members as well as external stakeholders + Successful past performance in providing person-centered care  **Special Requirements:** + This is a full-time; **HYBRID / ONSITE** position based out of New Orleans, LA andprovides a flexible & non-traditional work schedule + Evening and weekend schedule supporting leadership meetings, video conferences, events, and operations **Job Type:** + Full-time; salary, exempt **Pay Range:**   + $45,355.55 - $63,587.97 per year _The hiring range reflects where in the range we most likely intend to hire for this role.
