The entrance to the Convention Center is on level P3. Job Description This Grounds Maintenance Associate will be responsible for landscaping duties, janitorial duties, and litter collection. Essential Duties + Maintaining playground/island mulch, turf (natural and synthetic), dragging baseball field infields, changing home plates and base anchors + Inspecting park assets including playgrounds for safety standards + Applying herbicides (pre- and post-emergents) and fertilizers + Operating irrigation systems and performing minor repairs + Maintaining passive areas + Operating tractors and commercial zero turn mowers + Operating small engine equipment (backpack blowers, edgers, and string trimmers) + Performing preventative maintenance and performing repairs on equipment, chain link fencing/gates + Reporting incidents to leadership + Providing maintenance reports Other Job Requirements/Information + This job may require on-call rotation and emergency after hours, weekends, and/or holidays.
