Job Description
This Grounds Maintenance Associate will be responsible for landscaping duties, janitorial duties, and litter collection.
Essential Duties
+ Maintaining playground/island mulch, turf (natural and synthetic), dragging baseball field infields, changing home plates and base anchors
+ Inspecting park assets including playgrounds for safety standards
+ Applying herbicides (pre- and post-emergents) and fertilizers
+ Operating irrigation systems and performing minor repairs
+ Maintaining passive areas
+ Operating tractors and commercial zero turn mowers
+ Operating small engine equipment (backpack blowers, edgers, and string trimmers)
+ Performing preventative maintenance and performing repairs on equipment, chain link fencing/gates
+ Reporting incidents to leadership
+ Providing maintenance reports

+ This job may require on-call rotation and emergency after hours, weekends, and/or holidays.
Grounds Maintenance Associate I
Grade
The grade for this position is A12(2): 40,000. Salary will be dependent on education and experience.
Minimum Qualifications
+ High school diploma or GED
+ An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above will also be considered.
Grounds Maintenance Associate II
Grade
The grade for this position is A13(2): $42,000. Salary will be dependent on education and experience.
Minimum Qualifications
+ High school diploma or GED
+ Two years of grounds maintenance experience
+ An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above will also be considered.
+ Driver's license
+ CPR/First Aid Certification
