Cardiology and ECG Technician, Per Diem
Job Description Summary: We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cardiology & ECG Technician to join our team on a part-time basis. This position primarily covers every other weekend, making it a great option for someone seeking flexibility and work-life balance, whether you're balancing another job, education, or personal commitments. Job Description: Position: Cardiology & ECG Technician Location:Schedule: Per diem, primarily every other weekend; 7:00 am - 11:00 am Weekday shifts are available, but not required. Shift: Days What You'll Do: + Performs ECGs on patients and ensures exams are turned in to the physician. + Prepares patients for other cardiology procedures to include cardiology stress testing, holter monitoring, and event monitoring. + Reviews patient's record and instructs patient before and during procedures. + Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Maintains exam areas. + Ensures procedure charges are obtained and entered in the appropriate software with timeliness and accuracy. What You Bring: + Prior experience with ECGs and cardiac monitor placement is preferred - we're willing to train the right candidate + Basic knowledge of cardiac procedures and medical terminology is a plus + Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently + Comfortable operating and troubleshooting medical equipment + Excellent Communication skills and a compassionate approach when working with patients.
