Salary: $100-120+/hr based on experience LaSante Health Center is seeking a Part-time Cardiologist to provide high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular care in a federally qualified health center (FQHC) setting one day/week. This role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and managing cardiovascular conditions while collaborating with primary care providers to support comprehensive care for an underserved community. Responsibilities: + Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with cardiovascular conditions + Perform cardiovascular assessments and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests as applicable) + Develop and manage treatment plans for acute and chronic cardiac conditions + Provide patient education on heart health, disease prevention, and medication management + Collaborate with primary care providers and care teams to ensure coordinated care + Document all encounters accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) + Participate in quality improvement and clinical meetings as requested Qualifications: + Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution + Board certified or board eligible in Cardiology + Current New York State medical license (or eligibility for licensure) + Experience in outpatient or community health settings preferred + Strong communication and patient engagement skills
