As a Product Manager in Credit Card Data Product, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
Job responsibilitiesDevelops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customersManages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmapOwns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value propositionBuilds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliabilityCoaches and mentors the Analytics Data Product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods. Helps uplift the team to develop a product mindset to help tell a story of the importance of data, the generative AI solutions and how drives business outcomes and enhancing our customers experiencePartners with data owners, engineering, data science, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant data product solutions and generative AI solutionsLeads modernization initiatives, including migration from legacy systems to cloud-native architectures such as AWS and Data LakeDevelops a strong partnership with Stakeholders; communicating product updates, influencing the importance of data to the organization, progress and strategy to stakeholders; including executives and customersDemonstrates success in delivering enterprise-scale data products with measurable business outcomesAnalyzes data, extracts actionable insights, and connects findings to business strategy, highlighting the importance of data quality and centralized data management in a data lakeTranslates business requirements into clear technical specifications and user stories for development teamsRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain areaAdvanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analyticsProven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value managementExperience in driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functionsStructured thinker and effective communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skillsFamiliarity with different data environments such as AWS S3, Snowflake and Data BricksStrong understanding of agile methodologies and experience with them and collaboration tools such as Jira and ConfluenceTechnical knowledge of data engineering, data pipelines, data modeling and data architectureExperience in API-first product design, data governance, and real-time data processingExpertise in delivering products, projects, or technology applicationsPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsDemonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organizationHigh proficient in data querying with languages as Python, R, Perl, SQLExperience in product developmentBachelorās degree or equivalent work experience
