Car Wash Maintenance Technician

Job Description
Tech I
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and test electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing, and pneumatic issues
• Read and interpret manuals, work orders, schematics, and other equipment documentation
• Operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and other equipment as needed
• Comply with all safety guidelines, and PPE requirements as needed
• Work efficiently when juggling multiple projects
• Follow all appearance, uniform, and grooming standards
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance

• Minimum 10% out-of-market travel
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 2 years of moderate-to-advanced level experience in breakdown industrial and production maintenance preferred
Moderate experience in at least four of the following competencies:
○ Electrical
○ Mechanical aptitude
○ Hydraulics
○ Welding
○ Pneumatics
○ Plumbing
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Positive attitude; ability to be flexible when adopting new processes and procedures
• Comfortable working independently and as a member of a team
• Dedication to honesty, integrity, and ethical conduct
• Strong time management skills and experience with planning and troubleshooting
• Experience with Microsoft office suite and email platforms
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, off-production hours, and on-call hours
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and in a variety of weather conditions
Ability to lift to 75 pounds, stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, craw, twist, perform repetitive motion, see variations in color, and
climb and work from ladders
• Possess and maintain a valid driver license and be able to pass a criminal background check

TECH II

• Advanced experience and expert proficiency in at least four of the following competencies:
• Electrical
• Mechanical aptitude
• Hydraulics
• Welding
Pneumatics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Positive attitude; ability to be flexible when adopting new processes and procedures
• Comfortable working independently and as member of a team
• Dedication to honesty, integrity, and ethical conduct
• Strong time management skills and experience with planning and troubleshooting

• Advanced experience with Microsoft office suite and email platforms
• Experience leading a teams and training staff
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, off-production hours, and on-call hours
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and in a variety of weather conditions
Ability to lift to 75 pounds, stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, craw, twist, perform repetitive motion, see variations in color, and
climb and work from ladders
• Possess and maintain a valid driver license and be able to pass a criminal background check

TECH III
• Perform other duties as assigned by the maintenance Team

• Advanced experience and expert proficiency in at least six of the following competencies:
• Electrical (required)
• Leadership
• Mechanical aptitude

• Welding
• Pneumatics
• Plumbing

• Expert-level experience in Microsoft office suite email platforms
• Positive attitude; ability to be flexible when adopting new processes and procedures
• Comfortable working independently and as a member of the team
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, off-production hours, and on-call hours
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and in a variety of weather conditions

Differences between the three
- Tech I is base/moderate knowledge with electrical NOT required
- Tech II and III require advanced in electrical
- Tech II requires advanced proficiency in 4/6 competencies
- Tech III requires advanced proficiency in 6/6 competencies
- Tech III requires advanced knowledge of MS office suite
