Car Wash District Manager

As the District Manager you will help ensure that these locations in your market meet and exceed the organizations standards in leadership, customer service, safety, quality, operational excellence, and financial performance. As a District Manager it is expected that you set high standards for both yourself and your team by living and exemplifying our Company’s Vision and Values. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position requires the successful candidate to spend at least four days a week out in the field at the assigned car wash sitesResponsible for leading, developing and coaching the General Managers and Site Managers to high performanceAbility to successfully recruit and onboard new employees, train, and coach staff, when needed assist Site Managers in the scheduling of employee shifts, with strict adherence to overtime policies, perform activities around employee engagement, performance management, and recognitionMaintain a focus on growing sales volume and increasing site profitabilityManage operating P&L metrics and understands how expenditures/costs impact business margins and pricingEnsure that customers are satisfied and that any inquiries, incidents and issues are resolved in a timely mannerEnsure the sites follow all approved safety proceduresEnsure the sites follow all approved vehicle damage claim proceduresPerforms other duties and responsibilities as assigned

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Strong leadership and communication skills including active listeningExperience with team buildingExcellent sales and customer service skillsAbility to anticipate customer needsStrong computer skillsStrong work ethic and professional attitude

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferredFive+ years of retail experience, with at least three years in a management role with demonstrated experience developing and leading high-performing teams to deliver exceptional resultsCandidates experienced with managing multi-unit site locations in retail and car wash or lube centers are encouraged to apply.

For this position, an unexpired Driver’s License is required. Additionally, a motor vehicle record check “MVR” will be run on the successful candidate post-offer.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

In performing the duties of this position, the employee may from time-to-time be required to stand and walk throughout the workday; use of hands; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stop, crouch, and kneel. The employee must be able to work in damp and humid conditions. The employee must be able to work in outdoor variable weather conditions. The employee may from time-to-time have to lift and/or move objects up to 25lbs.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

The incumbent must be able to perform this job safely in accordance with standard operating procedures without endangering the health or safety of self or others.

   This position works in a typical outdoor car wash environment. The noise level is usually moderate but can be excessively loud with hearing protection required (along with other PPE). This person must adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and protocols which means this person will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment such as, but not limited to hearing, eye, foot, hand protection.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:

The team member must be capable of performing their responsibilities with minimal supervision.
